What We Do

Low cost without a compromise on quality and reliability is what we strive to achieve at this State Key Laboratory as our show of commitment to the photovoltaics industry.  Our aim is to foster and excel in introducing PV modules and new products that meet the market demand. Discussions and exchanges on the new and existing technologies with PV experts are highly encouraged and the laboratory brings together technical capabilities from the Company’s strategic partners, including customers and key PV component suppliers, as well as universities and research institutions. As of December 2016, 1300 patents have been submitted by Trina Solar and of those, 620 were invention patents including 32 under the PCT. 746 patents have been approved and of those, 219 are invention patents.
